Thursday Musical presented its first classical music performance on Thursday morning,
November 10, 1892 at 10:30 AM and has been giving fine music programs featuring outstanding local musicians ever since.
Our organization is dedicated to offering performance and educaiton opportunities to artists and audiences alike.
We sponsor three distinct music series throughout the season:
- The Morning Artist Series:
14 exciting concerts featuring
a variety of classical artists performing works by new and well-known composers. Concerts
are presented at the Bloomington Center for the Arts. Excellent acoustics, comfortable seating and convenient free parking make The Center for the
Arts a superb setting for Thursday Musical. It is the perfect way to spend a Thursday morning. Please join us!

Thursday Musical continues our unique tradition of offering fine
classical concerts in an intimate home setting. On October 28, 2010 and April 21, 2011, concert hosts will graciously
open their homes to Thursday Musical performers and listeners. Five programs are given in five different
homes, beginning with coffee at 10:00 AM and the concert at 10:30. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

Thursday Musical serves the
community by presenting concerts throughout the Twin Cities. Our artists bring exceptional programs to audiences at performances
sponsored by area churches, music series, museums and retirement centers.
